Welcome to VanderSloot.com – a comprehensive site about the history of VanderSloot last name and the VanderSloot family.

The vast majority of this site is the result of the work of Ton Van den Hurk.  His dediction in time and effort is invaluable to the finding and understanding of the origins of the first VanderSloot, as well as the identity of the mother of that found child.

I have recently finished implimenting a new genealogical tree with all the names and dates of the people I have on record.  Some have links to pictures and documents, there will be more to come.

This should make for a fun, easy way to find who is related to to.  Take a look and let me know if there’s any suggestions you have for improvement!
